Market leaders in award winning security, Henry Squire & Sons Ltd have manufactured premium quality locks at the same British production site for over 200 years. Our two wheel security range is designed to meet Sold Secure approval and the most stringent of European security standards such as SSF and ART.
"The 39CS padlock is designed so that once in place in it's hasp and staple it's very difficult to attack the vulnerable shackle - although in this case the 19mm diameter hardened shackle isn't that vulnerable in the first instance. The body of the lock is hardened steel around the shackle end but the lower half is a standard padlock encased in a plastic cover with no protection around the lock barrel. Not to say that this isn't a fine product, and more than tough enough for most applications, with a clever design to foil hacksaw equipped thieves. At a quarter of the price of another manufacturer's enclosed shackle lock it is undeniably excellent value for money."

"This hasp and staple from Squire is constructed with 6mm thick hardened steel and seriously heavy duty coachbolts to hold it in place (8mm thick to be precise) but the really clever part of it is the folded over padlock shield. Simply brilliant when used with the Squire 39CS padlock, as it's impossible to see the shackle never mind attack it. In fact the only way to attack the hasp would be to drill the bolts, so unless a potential thief is so well tooled up that they've come with a power drill and power source they aren't getting through this, and if they are that tooled up they'd probably get in regardless. It is made to fit outward opening shed or garage doors and is available as either right or left-hand opening."
